In its continuing commitment to contribute to the development of health care services in the Philippines, Health Futures Foundation, Inc. (HFI) has launched its Nursing Scholarship Program to support nurses who seek advanced studies. HFI invites Philippine-licensed nurses, ages 50 years old and below, who are accepted to a graduate nursing program in a Commission on Higher Education (CHED) accredited institution. Funded by the Health Carousel Foundation, this initiative aims to directly contribute to the development of health care services across the nation and empower Filipino nurses to lead the next generation of health care services through academic excellence and clinical innovation.

Below are the details regarding HFI’s Nursing Scholarship Program:
Eligibility Criteria
- Licensed Filipino nurse working in a health facility or faculty member of a nursing institution for at least two (2) years
- Incoming first year graduate student for the upcoming enrollment period (AY 2025-2026 Second Semester or AY 2026-2027 First Semester)
- Age must not be more than 50 years old
Terms and Conditions for the Selected Scholar
- Maintain a passing grade for every subject/course taken
- Render a Return Service Obligation
- Enroll the maximum units required as assessed by the University where he/she is enrolled
Scholarship Benefits
Scholarship may cover the following subject to HFI’s approved budget:
- Tuition fee and miscellaneous university fees
- Required books and learning materials
- Internet allowance
- Thesis and graduation fees
- Board and lodging
Application Deadlines
- Incoming first year graduate enrollees for A.Y. 2025-2026 Second Semester – 23 January 2026
- Incoming first year graduate enrollees for A.Y. 2026-2027 First Semester – 30 June 2026
