HFI conducted another NCD Ambassadors General Assembly last 04-05 June 2019 at Salcedo Municipal Covered Court. Over 80 NCD Ambassadors on Nutrition, Exercise, Stress Management, Wellness, and Anti-Smoking attended the event. Mr. Don Mabulay, the facilitator, highlighted the principles and strategies of conducting Community Social Mobilization and Facilitating Community Meetings.
Aside from the lecture, the NCD ambassadors also received their Ambassadors Kit consisting of the following: (1) ALAGA KA bag, (2) notebook, (3) pen, and (4) community mobilization manual.
The assembly is the third and last installment in the series of assemblies for the NCD Ambassadors. It is part of the Direct Relief-funded project, “Post-Haiyan Integrated Non-Communicable Disease Prevention and Control Program in Sacledo, Eastern Samar”.
