Fifty (50) physicians, nurses, and other health professionals gathered last 06 February 2016 at The Blackboard Podium Mall, Ortigas for the Colloquium on Universal Health Care to discuss recommendations and actions on Universal Health Care for the incoming administration.

The Colloquium on Universal Health Care, composed of presentations from eight primary health care doctors and dialogue between various health professionals and health policy experts, aims to (1) formulate a unified action for a community-based approach to Primary Health Care within the Universal Health Care Policy in the Philippines; (2) design the platform for the Philippine health agenda for the years 2016 to 2022 and beyond; and (3) continue a sustained dialogue among community-based oriented health workers and Primary Health Care practitioners and supporters in the context of the Universal Health Care policy.

Output, reflections, and suggestions raised from the Colloquium was presented to DOH Sec. Ubial for possible inclusion in the Philippine health agenda for 2016 to 2022.
